The Village Show is once again taking place in the Community Centre (Dryden Hall, Café, Library) and St Mary’s Church.
Since the Show was re-launched in 2023, we have seen the many wonderful talents in our village, so please enter and/or join us in celebrating the creativity, produce and skills from all ages of our community.
Please bring along entries to The Dryden Hall from 9.30am on the morning of 13th Sept or leave at the Café during opening hours that week.
Public viewing of categories is from 1pm with Prizegiving at 3pm.
There will also be a performance by the Community Singers in St Mary’s church at 2pm, information from the Railway Club and Archives, and a display in the library about the village Archaeological Dig that took place this May.
Entry and admission is free to all.
There will be a raffle and prizes of cups, rosettes and 1st, 2nd & 3rd place certificates. All children get a prize for entering and you can vote for the “People’s Choice” award.
Refreshments will be available in the Community Café 9-3pm plus Woodford’s “Churches Together” will be providing drinks and cake in St Mary’s church 1pm-3pm, with proceeds going to support Rural Wheels.
