Career History
Judith has over twenty five years’ experience working in the people function specialising in organisational development which includes company restructures, design and development of people development projects with a focus on behaviours. She started her career working for a Norwegian shipping company called Skaugen before moving to a small boutique HR consultancy working in the energy industry. After becoming a director, she moved to work for Shell International Ltd where she spent 10 years working internationally in various roles including head of recruitment strategy, global head of HR for the Wells Function and Head of Talent for the Upstream Global businesses. She left in 2009 to set up her own consultancy JM-consulting Ltd which she runs with the help of a small team and associates offering both day to day HR support to SME’s who don’t require full time inhouse HR representation or specialist project consultancy usually to corporate clients including: National Grid, Lloyds bank, Engie, Direct line, and British Gas.
Other Information and Interests
Judith is married to Simon and has a Jack Russell called Matilda, she has two step children who live in Germany with one granddaughter Kate and another on the way. She is new to the village having spent most of her adult life to date in urban environments here in the UK or overseas in The Netherlands, Singapore, Hong Kong and Miami. She grew up in a village of similar size to Woodford Halse and is looking forward to getting involved and contributing to village life. Judith hobbies include all things animals, particularly dogs, she has been a member of various amateur theatre groups both acting or providing the hair and make up for shows, is a reluctant participant in Yoga, Pilates and dance exercise classes, has taken up gardening having recently acquired a large garden with absolutely no clue and when she has time is an avid reader.
